12 December, 2019

Wine Source Group has announced the increase of private equity firm Saphir Capital's shareholding to a new majority stake of 51% in the business.

This is said to facilitate the company’s ambitious plans for growth and alongside the seven figure investment, the group has also completed an international restructure that sees a series of senior level hires to meet commercial targets.

Wine Source Group sources rare vintages directly from the cellars of wine producers around the world and brings them to the trade.

Philippe Kalmbach, CEO Wine Source Group said: “The last six months have been a proven testament of the capabilities of our business as we compete amongst the top fine wine merchants around the world, bringing unique and personalised offerings to our clients.”
