Thomas Henry Botanical Tonic

With the new Thomas Henry Botanical Tonic the premium brand extends the horizon of mixing and paves the way to create tasty drinks for every occasion. During the development of this flavour additional attention was given to offer consumers an alternative to a classic tonic, so that even home mixing can be taken to the next level and delightful drinks can be created in a few simple steps.

WHAT IS THE SECRET BEHIND AN OUTSTANDING TONIC?

In order to find a perfect harmony between what bartenders need and what consumers would be able to use at home, Thomas Henry always develops its new flavours with expert bartenders around the world. Due to the current pandemic, this time most of the competence was provided by local friends of the brand.

„We wanted to create a complex, yet easily understandable tonic water to match with aromatic spirits or simply enjoy on its own. To achieve this, we've carefully chosen a mix of local and Mediterranean ingredients and created a unique pairing of those. We wanted to also make sure that while tasting the Botanical Tonic we could take customers on a journey through the several natural aromas used.“ says Karim Fadl, a friend of the brand & mixing expert.

DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE GIN?

The emerging trends of day drinking and low-ABV drinks influenced the development of this tonic not only to fit to strong spirits.

With its mild character and a less bitter taste profile consumers can enjoy the tonic also pure, with ice and garnished with some herbs.

It´s versatile taste is complemented with different packaging formats for every need, now available in over 50 markets globally.

„I love how versatile the Botanical Tonic is. Mixing it with gin is only one great possibility to serve it. I also like it with vermouth and light aperitifs. For a non-alcoholic option, I mix it with verjus and a floral cordial.“ says Maria Gorbatschova,  who was also heavily involved in the creation.
