The research also showed that 22% of the population believe the lack of availability is stopping them from choosing alcohol-free beer, with 18% specifically referring to its lack of availability on draught.
Lucky Saint has conducted this survey having launched its non-alcoholic beer on draught across the UK in 2020.
Of those who said they would choose to drink alcohol-free options in pubs over alcoholic ones once lockdown lifts, 20% said they were looking to moderate/give up drinking in order to avoid hangovers.
Lucky Saint launched in 2018 and has become the biggest independently owned alcohol-free beer brand in the UK. The brand says it is now preparing to support on-trade venues as they re-open from lockdown.
Censuswide conducted the survey on behalf of Lucky Saint from the 30 April - 4 May 2021 and had 2,001 respondents.
