14 October, 2011

Drinks group Sazerac has unveiled a line of flavoured vodkas under its Wave brand for the US market.

The range - which consists of whipped cream, pink lemonade, cherry, blue raspberry and grape - sits alongside the unflavoured Wave vodka.

According to the US-based drinks group, the new line – which has launched with a new “bold” look - will be added to in the future with further flavours.

Tracey Clapp, brand manager for Wave Vodka, said: "The design naturally exudes energy and reflects movement and we believe that is interesting for consumers.

"The bright, eye-catching colours of Wave, plus the superior taste of the brand lends it to some really fun, creative drink concoctions we are sure both bartenders and consumers will enjoy.”

Wave flavoured vodkas carry an abv of 30% (60 proof) and are priced at $8.99.
