Diamond Jubliee port

16 April, 2012

The port house, Symington, is offering a 1952 tawny port to celebrate and commemorate the diamond jubilee of the British queen’s ascent to the throne of the United Kingdom.

The port is on sale through Berry Bros & Rudd, which holds two royal warrants including being “purveyors of fine wines to the royal household”.

There is only a limited amount of the Graham’s 1952 and it will be supplied in individually numbered bottles. Berrys says each bottle is presented in an individual gift box. A special pack of three bottles is also available. This three bottle pack comes in a hand crafted oak box specially to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

The port is available from Berry Bros. & Rudd from May 1, priced £275 per single bottle, £795 for three bottles in a hand-crafted wooden box and £1,800 for a jeroboam (4.5 litres).
