Jim Beam’s 1795 exclusive at Frankfurt

28 May, 2012

Beam and Maxxium Travel Retail (MTR) have jointly launched a travel retail-exclusive Jim Beam bourbon at Frankfurt airport.

The ultra-premium Jim Beam 1795 has gone on sale exclusively with Gebr. Heinemann at Frankfurt’s Terminal 1 B Schengen luxury lounge. Next month the bourbon, which is priced at €139 (£111) for a 70cl bottle, will also be available at Heinemann’s shops at Hungary’s Budapest airport.

Jim Beam 1795 honours the founding date of the Jim Beam distillery. The bourbon itself is eight years old and selected from the top floor of the five-floor rack house. It is bottled at 47.5% abv and there are only 200 70cl bottles available.

The flint glass bottle is packaged in a black gift box with 1795 and the signature of the founder, James B. Beam, printed on it.

The release of Jim Beam 1795 follows on from the release early this year into European travel retail of Jim Beam Devil’s Cut, and the launch last April of the cherry-flavoured Red Stag by Jim Beam.
