Oobertock gets Diageo and C&C onboard

13 November, 2012

Online wholesale business, Ooberstock, has signed up Diageo’s Guinness and C&C’s Magners cider to its portfolio of brands.

The UK company, which describes itself as a "quicker, more convenient and cost-effective" version of the traditional wholesale model by dint of its outsourcing approach,  already stocks brands from the likes of Heineken UK, Pernod Ricard, Bacardi Brown Forman Brands, First Drinks Brands, Maxxium UK, Global Brands and Whyte & Mackay.

Arran Heal, managing director of Ooberstock, said: “Securing listings from these two major drinks companies is a significant step forward for us, and means that we are now rivalling the most established ‘bricks and mortar’ wholesalers in terms of our offering.

“We are delighted with the first few months of trading and our growing customer numbers show the industry is embracing a more transparent, lower-cost and more flexible service.”
