Kirin releases Four Roses limited edition

23 November, 2012

The Four Roses Distillery has released the latest in its series of limited-quantity bottlings with the 2012 Limited Edition Single Barrel, a handcrafted bourbon selected by Four Roses master distiller, Jim Rutledge.

The 12-year-old bourbon was bottled at barrel strength and is non-chill filtered. Four Roses 2012 Limited Edition Single Barrel ABV ranges from 50.3% to 57.2 %.

According to Kirin, tasting notes are: “Smoky oak [aromas] featuring ripe red cherries, nutmeg and hints of toasted almonds.

"The palate offers flavours of creamy vanilla and caramel combined with layers of rich honey, cinnamon and brown sugar, finishing with soft undertones of toasted almonds.”
