The family-owned Spanish company says Clamens will be in charge of its wine and spirits divisions but his main role will be to craft the strategy, the team and capabilities to build Licor 43, Villa Massa Limoncello and the company’s wines business.
Zamora CEO Emilio Restoy said: ¨Thomas is bringing a lot of passion, international experience and brand building expertise. After managing Latin America for William Grant he spent almost a decade in Maxxium in Latin America, Asia and Europe leading local operations driving effectiveness and efficiency in his very competitive leadership style.
“We have a clear vision that we can enter the one million cases’ club with Licor 43 as our brand has been growing amazingly all over the world seducing consumers in countries as diverse as Germany, Holland, US, Mexico and Australia. Within this context we feel that this is a unique moment and opportunity for us to take a step-change decision at the level of the challenge in front of us,” said Restoy.
