Beefeater #MyLondon Film Fest winner

Unhappy Hour by Jamie Sims was the winner of Beefeater #MyLondon Film Fest.

Sims, was praised by the judging panel, which included British director Paul Andrew Williams and Movie Show film critic James King, for his “fun and quirky” film.

The Beefeater #MyLondon Film Fest, created by the Pernod Ricard premium spirits division Chivas Bros to promote the eponymous premium gin brand, is a competition aimed at independent, amateur filmmakers. The brief is to create a short film to celebrate the “unique spirit of the capital”, and features one of London’s leading bartenders and a gin-based cocktail.

The six finalists were given £2,000 in prize money while Sims won £5,000 worth of filming equipment.
