Courvoiser's Asseline goes global

29 October, 2014

Beam Suntory has promoted Rebecca Asseline from Courvoisier UK brand ambassador to global brand ambassador.

Asseline will work predominantly in the EMEA region with priority to the UK where she has been brand ambassador for Courvoisier since 2009.

Beam Suntory said Asseline has proved to be "a valuable asset" over the last 15 years in building the profile of Courvoisier, the UK’s number one cognac, particularly amongst luxury accounts in London.

Francois Bazini, VP Marketing EMEA for Beam Suntory, said: “Rebecca’s experience in this industry has given her a strong passion for spirit maturation, mixology, food pairings and the sensory Courvoisier journey that she so eloquently passes on to the trade, consumers and colleagues she interacts with day-to-day. Coupled with her professionalism and a commitment to excellence, these attributes make Rebecca an ideal steward of the legacy of Courvoisier.”

Chris Anderson, Maxxium UK’s marketing controller for luxury brands, said: “While her expanded global role with Beam Suntory will at times take her further afield to support Courvoisier around the world, Rebecca will continue to work with myself and our team to deliver UK objectives.”
