Altia appoints media man to its board

Altia, the leading Nordic and Baltic wine and spirits company, has appointed Kai Telanne to its board of directors.

Telanne, is president and CEO of Alma Media Corporation, which is a Helsinki based media company focusing on digital services and publishing.

Altia says all the present members of the board continue in their positions. So, the amount of members increases from six to seven.

Ms Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae continues as a chairman of the board of directors and Ms Annikka Hurme as vice-chairman. In addition to Kai Telanne, other members are Jarmo Kilpelä, Minna Huhtaniska, Kim Henriksson and Kasper Madsen.

Altia’s own brands include Koskenkorva, Larsen, Renault, Blossa, Chill Out, Valhalla, Xanté and O.P. Anderson. Altia’s partner brands include Jack Daniel’s, Pasqua, Faustino, Fresita, Drostdy-Hof, Codorníu, Nederburg and Tarapacá.
