The new bottle format will be rolled out across the Fentimans range including tonic water, ginger beer and rose lemonade.
“As more and more consumers continue to enjoy longer serves, and experiment with a range of mixers to pair with their personal spirit repertoires, it’s important that Fentimans creates a serve size that meets the needs of our consumers, whilst providing the best drinking experience,” said Andrew Jackson, marketing director at Fentimans.
“With the launch of our new 200ml pack format, we have responded to the ever-evolving needs of our customers and the growing number of people who enjoy Fentimans drinks.”
In a year of difficult trading circumstances, tonic water and mixers performed well, with global tonic water and bitters sales surpassing 2.2 billion litres.
“While online and ecommerce-based sales of soft drinks had been growing for years, there was a huge explosion of growth in this channel in 2020 as consumers switched to online shopping platforms,” said Neil Donachie, trade marketing manager at Fentimans.
The full range of Fentimans mixers will be available direct or through all major UK on-trade wholesalers.
