Scotch granted trademark protection in Hong Kong
The Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) has announced that Scotch whisky has been registered as a trademark in Hong Kong, following the success of its application.
The new £2.5m Lakes Distillery will become the first whisky operation in the Lake District in more than 100 years, when it opens in December.
