Brown-Forman hires duty free quartet

Brown-Forman Duty Free has made four senior-level appointments, effective immediately.

Tim Young has been promoted to the position of marketing director of global travel retail and will be based in London.

Previously Young was the travel retail director of trade marketing, responsible for in-store activities throughout the market.  

In his new position he will manage a marketing team and is tasked with creating and executing Brown-Forman’s travel retail marketing strategy.     

Finbar Boyle, who has been named director of travel retail for the Australia/Pacific region, will be responsible for the company’s travel retail portfolio, based in Aukland, New Zealand.

Boyle was Brown-Forman’s finance manager for global travel retail in London.  

Jeannine Wise has become brand portfolio manager, global travel retail in Louisville, where she will be responsible for creating global promotions and development plans.  

Prior to this assignment she was the Jack Daniel’s sales promotion manager for the US.

Also based in Louisville is David Page, who has been named the travel retail Americas trade marketing manager.

He will be working closely with both travel retail operations and Brown-Forman’s 'military and transportation' sales operations.  

He was formerly a member of the Brown-Forman public relations team working on brands including Finlandia vodka.
