Suvanto-Harsaae is an experienced Nordic board professional with vast experience from various business sectors, says the company s a leading wine and spirits company in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
She has worked in for Procter & Gamble in Sweden, Germany and Switzerland as well as the Nordic CEO at Reckitt Benckiser in Denmark.
Suvanto-Harsaae is a board member at companies such as SAS, Paulig and Clas Ohlson. She has been a member of Altia’s Board since 2013.
Suvanto-Harsaae said: “There is a significant reform process going on at Altia, which makes the chairman’s position particularly interesting. My aim is to promote the execution of new profitable growth.”
The board meeting elected Kim Henriksson and Kasper Madsen as new members of the board. Henriksson, who lives in Sweden, has previously worked as the financial manager at Munksjö and is a partner in Access Partners.
Danish Kasper Madsen is the logistics manager at Hilding Anders AB and has previously worked in managerial positions at Carlsberg. The previous chairman Matti Tikkakoski as well as Catarina Fagerholm and Mikael Aro will leave the board. Minna Huhtaniska, Annikka Hurme and Jarmo Kilpelä will continue as board members.
“The change is part of Altia’s internationalisation process. With the new members, we will gain significant expertise from Altia’s core markets,” sayid Suvanto-Harsaae.
