Smirnoff releases Nightlife Exchange Project bottles

03 October, 2011

Diageo has extended the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project campaign with the release of city and country-themed bottles to selected global markets.

The Nightlife Exchange Project, which first launched a year ago, has seen a series of global events in which countries "swap nightlife" on the same night.

New York, London, Rio De Janeiro and Australia have been selected as the themes for the limited edition bottle pack, because of their “urban cityscapes, energy, culture and artistic style”.

Each bottle includes a signature drink recipe on the sleeve, reflecting, according to Smirnoff, the cultural tastes of each place.

The New York bottle has been paired with the Cosmo; the Australian edition is coupled with lemon, lime and bitters; for London it is the London Collins; and Rio De Janeiro has the Brazil Caipiroska.

Simon Burch, global brand director for Smirnoff, said: “We searched the globe for the most exciting locations known for their nightlife and chose four that stood out for having unique, unforgettable and vibrant nightlife.

“The limited edition bottles represent these locations in design and inspiration for the signature drink that accompanies them.”
